On Sunday evening, July 24, 2011, the lovely and talented American Idol judge we all love, Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday in Miami, Florida. Famous cake designer, Ana Paz created a ferocious confection to mark the event!  As requested, the cake was Lemon Flavor filled with yummy Toasted Coconut which is Jennifer’s favorite. The embellishments on the cake were the Zodiac Sign of Leo going around the base of the fondant covered cake.
The main event on the cake was a Lioness head which symbolizes Jennifer’s resilience and sheer beauty and to transform it into a girly motif, Ana added eyelashes and a 5-strand glamorous Swarovski collar.
The actual sign of Leo resembles the letters “J†and “Lâ€, so it is even more fitting with the singer’s own name! What are the chances?
The Lioness was sculpted out of Buttercream , Royal, Fondant and Fudge Icing. It was made to serve up to 35 guests. The color scheme was Ivory and final touches were made with 23-karat gold trim finished with a single delicate Red Rose.
