As, I walked along the Design District I came upon a few galleries which were very welcoming to me and writing about them on Miamiartblog.
For those of you looking for established Artist’s works, Markowicz Fine Art does offer works by legends such as Robert Indiana, Alexander Calder, Marc Chagall, Keith Haring, Le Courbosier, Takashi Murakami, Pablo Picasso and the very well known David Alfaro Siqueiros.
Although, small in size, the gallery prides itself on offering Oil on canvas, Lithographs, Vintage Lithograph Posters, Limited Edition Prints, Sculptures, and Bildoreliefo from many more staples in the contemporary art world.
Going through their website, I was happily surprised to see that Bernard Markowicz does offer opportunities for Emerging Artists from Miami to exhibit at his gallery as part of his I ART Miami program. That is very important for our community and helpful to those artists who would like to exhibit in the Design District!
Former Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College, Arts & Philosophy Department since August of 2006, Portrait Painter, Professional Artist for the past 15 years. I specialize in Realism whether painterly (loose brushstrokes) or tight (highly rendered) Portraiture and depiction of the Human Figure.
