“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise, what it is wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?”
Welcome to Malice in Wonderland!
This show will take you on a marvelous adventure into the unknown. Ray Azcuy, Lu Coxhead, Luis Diaz and Yamel Molerio will surprise you with an array of artwork exploring familiar settings with a twist of malice. The artworks will explore the tragic and inevitable loss of childhood innocence, life as a meaningless puzzle, and death as a constant and underlying menace. All of the pieces have a dream-like quality while dealing with diverse personal issues. The curious viewers may find themselves looking at confusing themes that they could simply regard as nonsense or approach the work and explore at a deeper level to discover meaning beneath the layer of paint.
